SUN PROTECTION SERIA. The «Laboratory-Effect» line

The sun is a symbol of  life on the Earth. Ultraviolet radiation plays an important role in many biological life support programs. At low doses they are required for the synthesis of vitamin E and calcium metabolism in the human body. At higher doses of UV radiation are dangerous to health because it can damage cells and cause irreversible changes in the body. Statistics indicates that 50 % of cancers account for skin cancer. Under the influence of sunlight there are signs of photoaging : age spots and wrinkles , reduced skin tone, thickened stratum corneum of the epidermis.

UV radiation are divided into three types : UVC, UVB, UVA.

UVC rays would be most dangerous to living organisms if not filtered by the ozone layer in the stratosphere.

UVB rays penetrate only a superficial layer of the skin and cause sunburn and burns.

UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin and cause early wrinkles and other skin damages at the cellular level.

Natural sun protection factor is different for each person. Under prolonged sun exposure the natural defense of skin is not enough whatever last one was not high .
